Disciples of all Nations
Check out what Jesus said. In Matthew 28, he said these words right before he ascended to the daddy: Therefore go and make disciples of nations, baptizing them inside name of the Father and in the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Its the Trinity -- family artists. So, the more popcorn we eat, and the more soda we sip, the more God reveals himself to help us.
The last time, in our opening session, I mentioned three statements. I said that these statements could be the foundation that we generate this entire series with. Now, Im not going to return and repeat what As i said last time. In the event you missed last time, please pick up the tape, because every message builds to the next. The three statements are statements that we must understand and play out in our minds.
The first one goes like this: The Trinity consists of three persons. When you discuss the Trinity, each in the persons of the Trinity is actually separate. Each of that persons is separate. This can be a second big statement. Every one of the three persons is perfectly God. They are just about every fully God. The third statement goes like this: God is one. Goodness is one. Right up front most of the mathematicians and accountants say, Wait a minute, Impotence, the math doesnt work. Ive got my palm pilot here. Ive became my laptop, or Ive got a calculator plus it doesnt make sense.
See, the Trinity -- God the daddy, God the Son, Our god the Holy Spirit, one in essence and three in people -- transcends numbers. We have got to realize that we are generally finite and God is usually infinite. We are never about to get our arms for the essence of the Trinity, not on this side of the grave or in heaven. Thats the length of, thats how deep, thats precisely how huge, and thats how massive God is. The Trinity consists of three persons. Thats the main statement. What do Air cleaner will add by that? Im thankful you ask. I mean several things. First of all, the daddy is not the Son. Look at John 1: 1-2, In the beginning was the Word and also the Word was with God along with the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. http://edyoung-blog.net
